Told by Vassil Hadjikimov. Documentary data about Stephan Stephanov are not available.

Up to that moment, there were no data available of the governmental authorities for the sending of Stephanov and Hadzhikimov to Vardar Macedonia. Hadzhikimov himself denied having permit by the government or the Palace. Having in mind, the significance of their initiative one could suppose that they had received a similar idea of proposal by the official governmental bodies as an element of the propaganda for Macedonia, organized in Bulgaria at that time. Actual evidence of any engagement of the government with the activities of Stephanov and Hadzhikimov were not available.

Trayko Popov was born in the village of Rashtak, Skopje region. He was one of the leaders of the Skopje group of followers of the ideas of IMRO for an independent of the Macedonian Bulgarian state. Having comprehended well the anti-Bulgarian nature of the Serbian Yugoslav idea for the settlement of the Macedonian question, even after the arrest and the torturing by the Tito’s Macedonia adherents, Traycho Popov continued to hold to his Bulgarian origin. For his position that honest Bulgarian was convicted to death.

Spiro Kitinchev was an honoured citizen of Skopje. He had finished the Bulgarian Secondary School in Salonica. Later he continued his education in Switzerland. He was a member of the Skopje committee of IMRO. After the war he was arrested by Tito's regime and convincted to many years in prison for his activities as an honest Bulgarian and because he had shown his national belonging. He died in prison from strenuous physical work. (See Mihaylov, I. ,,Memoirs", Tetovo; Vol. II"; ,,The War of Liberation 1919 - 1924", Louven, Belgium, 1965, page 144).

After the establishment of the Yugoslav rule in Bitola in the end of 1944 the struggle for Bulgarian power in the town was resumed. The so called Democratic Front of Macedonia - Ilinden 1903 was formed. Activists of the organization were some of the people who participated in the activities of the local Bulgarian campaign committee as Stephan Kouzmanov and Serafim Lazarov. The younger people continued their deed. Members of the management body of the Democratic Front were Luka Seculov and Kiril Petsakov, brothers of the participants in Bitola's campaign committee Boycho Sekoulov and Stephan Kouzmanov. Of course, there was no question for accession with Bulgaria anymore but for international inquiry in Macedonia and its independence under the patronizing of the UN patronship. See Zora Newspaper, No. 10, August 7, 1990.

For his patriotism after the establishment of Tito's rule after the war, the lawyer Rampo Ivanov Toplichanets was convicted to 18 years in prison (See Belopolski, S. ..Revolt of the Raged Self-Consciousness” in Macedonia Newspaper, No. 50, December 18, 1992).
